Protect People

In times of trouble, when the tides are high,
And the numbers seem to pass us by,
We must remember, with open hearts,
To protect people, our most precious parts.

For data and figures may guide our way,
But they won't keep the darkness at bay.
Only love and compassion can light the path,
And shield us from the world's wicked wrath.

So let us stand together, hand in hand,
And protect each other, across the land.
For in the end, it's not the numbers we'll recall,
But the people we saved, both big and small.
