Sacred Cacao from the Mayan Lands Ritual & Traditional Preparation

Cacao carries deep cultural and ceremonial roots in Mesoamerican tradition. In this 90-minute experience, I will share the traditional way I learned to prepare ceremonial cacao, growing up in Mexico in a Mayan region, where these practices were part of family life and passed down through my grandparents.

This workshop is both practical and experiential.

We will: • Learn the traditional method of preparing ceremonial cacao • Understand correct proportions and water temperature • Explore the cultural context behind cacao in ritual spaces • Prepare the cacao together step by step • Sit and share it in a guided ceremonial moment

This is a small and intimate gathering.
