Who is Release to Release for?
Artists who want to explore personal expression through music and work with a producer in a retreat setting. Bring your creative intention, a song idea or a project you want to develop.
Do I need to know how to produce?
You can focus on your voice and artistic expression while I guide the production. We discuss your experience, material and goals before choosing the right format.
How is this different from Finish Your Song?
Release to Release is an immersive retreat combining personal exploration and music creation. Finish Your Song is a four-month mentorship where you learn through producing your own music, with practice between sessions.
Are accommodation and meals included?
No. Accommodation and meals are paid for separately. We discuss the location and practical arrangements before confirming your retreat.
What does “a fully produced song” include?
We agree the creative and recording scope and final deliverables before booking, including how final mixing, mastering and any production after the retreat will be handled.
Will my song be finished during the retreat?
The retreat gives us focused time to create and record. Any production continuing afterwards, delivery dates and revisions are agreed as part of your project.
What is the investment?
The personal three-day retreat is €1,790. The six-day group retreat is €1,490 per participant. Accommodation and meals are separate. Please agree dates, location and production scope with Mason before purchasing. Custom album retreats receive an individual proposal.
